Woolamai. A long beach with a number of breaks. Magiclands, 2nd carpark, Anzacs and Ocean Reach. There are banks all along but the currents are strong so a bit of paddling is required. Best surfed on E-NW winds and med-high tide with a 2’-6’ swell. View the CoastalWatch Woolamai Cam situated at the Surf Lifesaving Club.

Surfies Point. This wave has a big drop and a short wall that can reform inside. Can handle larger swells 4’-10’ on a med-high tide. N-NW wind.

Express Point. A skull-crunching right hand rock-bottom barrel and one of OZ's premier reef-breaks. Heavy take off over shallow reef and intense tube. Wipeout and you will have a painful encounter with the reef. Surf it on a high tide and med-large swell with a N-NW wind.

Smith’s Beach
. A fun, safe wave. Left and right peaks along the beach. Works better with an onshore breeze. Small-med swell with SE-SW winds and low to medium tide.Check out the Coastalwatch "Smitties" Webcam.

Summerlands. The home of the world famous Penguin Parade. There are two breaks here. The Point, which has some sweet spots along a slow wave, and Centre Crack, which can be a great wave. A sucky take off over shallow rock with the occasional barrel. 3’-6’ of swell and SW-N winds.

Right Point. Located inside the bay, it is a lefthander with a fast barrel section and a good wall to hit. A short ride but a good one. Med swell upwards and S-NE winds. One of the finest lefts in Vicco. High tide can open up Thistles and The Bowl - for some mellower fun on the inside reef.

Flynns Reef. A consistent and popular righthander inside the bay. It has a fast wall for some big turns. Med-large swell and S-NE winds.

The Bombie. A big lefthander a long way out to sea at the entrance to the bay. Sharky! It starts breaking at 8’ and is still breaking at over 15’ . Needs a big board and courage. Low tide and SE wind.

"No waves here".
